• I normally use the free shipping for all my products. There is only one exception: cash on delivery will cost a few $. My problem is: when someone uses the cash on delivery option the costs of it won′t be added to the sum. There is also shown the Free Shipping. I guess I need an exception for choosing “cash on delivery” so that free shipping is completely out of action. But I can′t find that option.

    Hi Daniel,

I’m not sure I understand. Could you clarify this bit for me again?

I guess I need an exception for choosing “cash on delivery” so that free shipping is completely out of action. But I can′t find that option.

Under what conditions would the options appear?

Hi Danny I guess I was on the wrong way. Now I know Free Shipping is always shown because cash on delivery has nothing to do with shipping.
My problem is – when I choose “cash on delivery” it is not shown in the total and is not added to the invoice / sum.

I can choose “cash on delivery” under “distribution” an also under “form of payment”. Now its activated at “form of payment”. When I activate it at “distribution” the user can choose “cash on delivery” at the left side (side “form of payment”) but also becomes the possibility to choose on the right side (side “distribution”) between “free shipping” and “cash on delivery”. So that doesn′t make any sense because you would always choose the free shipping without any costs.

I have to say I use the plugin “WooCommerce Print Invoice & Delivery Note”.

Do I really need to pay 49$ to fix this?

You’re not ‘fixing’ anything. Extra fees for payment methods is a feature, a feature not in core.

Feel free to search for a free solution elsewhere or code it yourself.
