Started getting hundreds of this error from the plugin in the last couple of weeks:

Warning: strpos(): Empty needle in /home/website/public_html/wp-content/plugins/error-log-monitor/freemius/includes/supplements/fs-essential-functions-1.1.7.1.php on line 35

Also, why does this need to be called? What is freemius for? Thanks!

Freemius is a monetization and analytics platform of sorts. It’s what I use to sell the Pro version of this plugin. For example, when you click the “View Pricing” link in the plugin widget, Freemius displays the pricing page.

Does your site use open_basedir or similar settings that restrict which directories PHP can access? It looks like this part of the Freemius library doesn’t take that possibility into account, which might be why it triggers a warning.

Let’s see if updating to the latest version of Freemius SDK would help. Please try the development version of the plugin:

All right, I’ll include this fix in the next plugin update.
