Problem with gallery and lightbox

Hi,
I am developing my site using Elementor basic plugin. After adding a gallery plugin
I realized that when I clicked on each of the images the images would’t expand. Eventually
working whith the support team of the gallery we realized that by unchecking the global lightbox setting in Elementor, that allowed for the image to be zoomed out at last.
I wonder why this setting is interfering with this gallery (Foo Gallery) and what could happen (what other side effects it could have on the rest of the website) if I leave the lightbox unchecked (Note: right now it is unchecked so the gallery works well)

yes I read it, but it doesn’t say what other side effects it could have on the rest of the website if I leave the lightbox option unchecked.
