Problem with gallery links and description

    Hello

    Since the 1.4.0, like much of us, I had problems with galleries on my website. I have now updated it with the 1.4.2. OK, it is better but not all.

    The 2 problems I have now are :

    1/ all the links in the galleries have been broken, so is it a thing to do to re-build them or should I recreate all the links from the library ?

    2/ I’ve tried to re-put photos from my library in some galleries. It is OK (even if it is a long work), BUT the “description” doesn’t display in the “compact” presentation. The option is checked in all my setups and it works in “extended” presentation, but not in “compact”.

    Can someone help me ?

  • I’m facing them same issue. The description of galleries in galleries groups are missing even if the option is checked. Only works with “show on hover”.

    1. Could you please update your Photo Gallery Plugin to the latest version (1.4.3)?
    2. Please note that the Description option in Compact view will be fixed in the upcoming version of the Photo Gallery Plugin.

    Dear Leonardo, do you also mean the description of Compact view?

    Thanks for your repply, but it still doesn’t work, even with the 1.4.4 that I’ve juste updated.

    Is there another solution ? Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    You can see a gallery group here : https://ligerie-guitares.fr/customshop/
    In groups, description text isn’t shown.

    But as you can see on this page : https://ligerie-guitares.fr/lancement-officiel-de-sauvignon-brut/ , when there is just a single gallery, it works…

    I’ve just updated with the 1.4.5 version, it is still the same problem with showing descriptions in gallery groups. I need to show these informations on my website, maybe there is another solution to have text in legend of a gallery.
