    Hello,

we have a problem with the Booster plugin, so please help us. The site link we are sending you is a testing site, but we need to implement this on 2 live sites for clients. We use 2 active modules from Booster: “Multicurrency (Currency Switcher)” and “Gateways Currency Converter”.

Because we plan for the site to have the option to change the currency (2 due to the free version – “Serbian Dinar” and “Euro” currency) and for the PayPal payments method to be able to be paid only in “Euro” currency, since PayPal does not support the “Serbian Dinar” currency and an error comes out (pictures for everything and the complete setup will be provided below).

    #Main Problem:

The main currency on the site is “Serbian Dinar” and can be changed to “Euro” currency and vice versa through the currency switcher in the header menu and it shows the good conversion for products, that we have set up. The problem is on the “Checkout Page” of the site when someone changes to the “Euro” currency and goes to the PayPal payment method (in this case we did not connect the PayPal payment method since it is a testing site, but we use “Direct Bank Transfer” (“Bankovni Transfer” text, instead), for that setting and this presentation) and does not show good conversion. Instead of 20,83€, since it doesn’t need to be converted it’s the same price, it shows 0,17€ converted, as you can see in the image below.

When you go through the “Serbian Dinar” currency, it converts well from the “Serbian Dinar” currency to the “Euro” currency and shows 20,83€, and it should also show the same when someone wants from the “Euro” currency to pay with PayPal payment method without conversion (in this case 20,83€, not 0,17€).

    https://prnt.sc/H42pun4a0lr7

    https://prnt.sc/x38661KRsTNV

We hope you understand and please help us resolve this, as it is very important to us for our clients and to show the prices they need. We have tried all possible settings and nothing helps. We also tried with the “WooCommerce FOX Currency Switcher” Plugin and activated only this Booster module “Gateways Currency Converter” but it won’t work with that either.

    #Second Problem:

Also one more thing: “Currency Switcher” does not remember which currency is selected, if the page is refreshed or returns to the home page or goes somewhere else, it returns to the website’s main currency (eg. if the client selects the “Euro” currency and goes to browse the products to look at or buy, he will still have the “Euro” currency selected, which is good. But if he returns to the home page from the shop page or goes somewhere else, the above “Euro” currency will return to the “Serbian Dinar” currency, which is set to the main currency in the shop settings. How can we fix this so that the currency that is selected is tracked all the way, wherever you go on the site until it is changed manually? Thanks in advance.

    Hello @vortexdizajn ,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

You can try to follow the below steps.

    1) Go to Booster settings
    2) Go to “Emails and Misc”
    3) Click on “Emails and Misc” –> “General” setting
    4) Change “Session Type in Booster” to “WC Sessions” (it should have been set to “Standard PHP sessions”).

Please try this and let me know if you need further help from us.

    Hello,

thanks for your reply and effort to help us.

We tried what you mentioned, but unfortunately, everything is the same and nothing has changed. We also tried in the live site with “PayPal Payments” and saw that there is another problem, even if we set the currency for “PayPal Payments” to change to “Euro”, it changes but the error appears again when someone wants to buy and it says: “Unsupported Currency”.

Why is this happening, please help us to solve it. Thanks in advance.
