• After installing the getsocial plugin, I noticed that my featured article picture slideshow, on the front page, was not loading. After further investigation, I also noticed that for the users who were logged in to my site the plugin would show on a different part of the page, differently from visitor who were not logged on.

So, I disabled the getsocial plugin, but the problem with the slide show persisted, but only for those who were logged on to the site.

Then I decided to uninstall the plugin, and it was then that things got really weird.

Even after removing the plugin, it shows up on the top left part of the posts, but only for people who are NOT logged in. And, on the front page, the slide show works and plugin is gone, which is the way it should be. However, if you log on to the site, this does not happen, but the slide show doesn’t work.

Remember, now the plugin is completely uninstalled.

I have cleaned all the cache and tried from different browsers on different computers, and I got the same results.

Later on, I found that some of the plugin code was left behind on all the post pages that I opened to test the plugin. {Some older posts don’t show this behavior, only the pages I opened when the plugin was installed, in order to test it.)

Please help, for I’m getting a lot of complaints from my readers

    Thanks,
