Problem with Google News sitemap

    Hi!

    I want to choose a single category for my Google News Sitemap. All the other categories should not appear in Google News.

    I tried to “include” the category by selecting it, but this does not work. There are still articles from other categories in the Google News Sitemap. I also see this selected category wenn I switch from “include” to “exclude”… Any ideas how to fix this?

    I didn’t select any “Genres” for the categories, is that important?

    Hello, thanks for using BWP Google XML Sitemaps.

    Are you enabling sitemap cache? What you’re seeing might be cached versions of the news sitemap.

    Genres are totally optional, btw.

    I disabled sitemap cache and I don’t know if that was the problem – but now everything is working fine! Thanks for your help!
