Problem with home the_excerpt

    Hi, Thomas,

    I got a problem with your fantastic plugin just a bit, so maybe you can help.

    In pages/single posts everything is going well, except with the_excerpt function in main page, where I publish few posts, there image source is writing without any html tag and I can’t css it like in page images. Maybe do you have idea how to work it? Thank you

    I wasn’t aware that this could even happen and will see that I can reproduce this with the_excerpt and a featured image.

    Excerpts always strip the HTML out and the source information shouldn’t be there in the first place.

    Hi Darkooo,

    I tried to reproduce your issue, but it doesn’t happen on a default theme. The image source is written below the excerpt then.

    Would it be possible for you to test a default theme as well and see if that still happens? If not, does the theme filter the output of the_excerpt() again in the theme files?
