Problem with hover and minify

Hi,

I love this plugin, but I’ve just noticed that the background goes black (or a solid color) when I have CSS minified. When it’s not checked, the menu icons look the way they should (slightly opaque when hovering). What is the work around for this? I am using the prose child theme if that matters.
