Problem with html code in post title

Hi folks,

For layout purposes i have some html code in the post title. Example: <b>Nike</b>
Blue Polo Shirt. The problem is that whenever i hover over a post title or thumbnail image, it shows the title but complete with the html code. Is there any way to keep the html code in the post title but stop it from showing when displaying the title tag?
