Problem with images not appearing in the front end

  • I have a problem with a Real Estate site that has a lot of images uploaded, especially in uploads/2013/07 subdirectory.

    In CPanel file manager all images appear to be there (and view-able if downloaded), but in FileZilla only the first 8000 show up. And also they do not properly appear in the media library (file is there, image is missing). That is one problem. (see screenshots)

    The main problem is that some images do not appear in the front end. They are mostly from that upload folder 2013/07.

    Recently moved site to BlueHost, and only then realized the issue. The support said to use SSH if I want to view all files (?), that it is further from the support they can provide and that I should contact www.ads-software.com and theme developer …but I am not sure how all these relate with each other.

    Any ideas what might be causing the issue and how to resolve it?
    I tried disabling all plugins and switching to parent theme (not default WP theme as custom post types are used to display properties with the images) but issue still remains.
