Problem with installation

  • Hi,

    I’ve got a problem for installing Make, when I want to activate it, I’ve got an error message :

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_comments_number_text() in C:\wamp\www\amd\wp-content\themes\make\partials\entry-comment-count.php on line 9

    Don’t know where it comes from beacause a friend of mine use the same version of this theme on her computer and it works perfectly.

    If someone has an idea about how to solve this qite embarrassing problem, I’m listening.

    P.S. : Sorry for the eventuals mistakes, long time I haven’t practice my english.

  • Hello there! I’m really sorry that the update caused you to get this error. It turns out that the get_comments_number_text() was introduced in WordPress 4.0, and you’re still on 3.9.2.

    However, the fact that this caused an error instead of reverting to a fallback is a bug, and we will work to get it fixed ASAP. In the mean time, you can download previous versions of Make here.
