Problem with installation from specific pc

  • Hello i have a server with c-panel and last week i got a new domain.I was waiting for it to propagate and all.I created the account and uploaded the wordpress files.The problem is i can’t run install.php from my pc specifically (i get connection timeout) but i can run the script from a different one without problems(the other pc has a different ip).I tried pretty much everything (clearing cache, cookies, router restart, pc restart, different browsers, new profile on firefox, checked to see if my ip is banned from c-panel).I can access my other domains fine which are on the same server except the new one.Thank you.

  • Well its hard to think of something you haven’t tried, but there is a file at:
    c:\windows32\drivers\etc\hosts
    (no extension but its plain text)
    This file can be used to map domain names to IP addresses just on the local machine, so consider seeing if there is anything in there that shouldn’t be.
