problem with jpgs

  • hi! i added a post today after a long break, and im having some issues with the jpg files. first of all they dont show normally in the media folder. second they are not showing as the feature image. i also cant edit the future image with the post thumbnail editor.

    also i dont know why but my files are a bit bigger than before, so maybe photoshop changed sth and files are saving as a strange jpg. dont mind the different jpg dimensions btw

    maybe its a plugin conflict. i turned post thumbnail editor off but it didnt help.

    mostly, what bothers me, is why the featured image is not showing. i have the post format set to image, and there was no problem before.

  • Hey,
    The meta information wordpress is sending back about your image is that it’s 0px by 0px. So it’s being output as 0x0 and that is why you can’t see it.

    I suggest just reuploading your image.

    If that doesn’t work then you have some internal server issue with media. (theme doesn’t control the media library).

    So I suggest contacting your host and making sure permissions are correctly set and that your database is not corrupted.
