  • it appears there is a “var_” on the first line of the function.php for this new update (4.3.2)

We have removed that, and it went back to working normally ??

to edit it, go to PLUGINS > find WP Slimstat Analytics > click on EDIT under it > edit the wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat.php file (by removing the “var_” right on the beginning of the file

    Hope this helps ??

    Thanx up3 ??

Seeing it on my site, too. Also looks like the WP Slimstat breaks the functionality of AI1EC (All-in-One Event Calendar) by Time.ly… Mentioned in another thread. Don’t know if the ‘var_…’ issue is the root cause or some other conflict. But, did notice the var_ on the Edit Event page that was malfunctioning. But only the first time I cloned an event, not on subsequent reloads, despite functionality still being broken.

For now, Slimstat is disabled so I can get my calendar updates done… Will reactivate once one or both resolve the issue that’s breaking the Calendar plugin functionality. Right now, the Calendar is more vital than the analytics, some of which I get semi-redundantly through WordFence. Though SlimStat is better for certain things.

New version 4.3.2.1 has just been pushed to the repo. Let us know if that fixes the issue for you.

    Thanks,
    Jason.

Seems like the Edit Page on AI1EC is back about where it should be, I think, post 4.3.2.1[.kaboom ?? j/k]?

Thx. ?? Will let ya’ know if anything else goes sideways. Hopefully not, tho’. Generally pretty solid!

Only saw the ‘var_…’ thing once briefly (didn’t recur on other pages I can recall), so can’t say for sure whether that’s fixed everywhere or not (as it was only a one-time intermittent thing when I noticed it). Will let others answer on that more definitively.

But, for my part, I think my conflict is fixed? *Fingers crossed*
