Hello. There was a problem accessing the plugin. If permalinks are set as /%category%/%postname%/ (with a slash at the end), it returns an error https://prnt.sc/vg7a6d if you set the links as /%category%/%postname% everything works.

I need the structure to be /%category%/%postname%/ (with a slash)

I can’t seem to replicate that problem. I don’t have any issues if it’s set to /%category%/%postname%/.

Those permalinks shouldn’t affect the REST API URL either. The problem seems to be with the double slash there.

It could be some kind of compatibility problem.

Try disabling all other plugins for a second and see if it works then.
If not, try switching to a default theme (like Twenty Seventeen) and check again.

An easy way to do these tests without interrupting your visitors is using the “Troubleshoot Mode” in the Health Check plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

There’s some more information about how to use that over here:

The WPML plugin conflicts with Affiliate links. If I disable it everything works.

My guess is that they are altering the REST API URL using a filter hook then. I recommend checking with their support if they can prevent adding that trailing slash there, as the default URL does not have that.

For our next update I’ll also fix things on our end.

I wrote to WPML support and they wrote that they would contact the EAL developer to work together to fix the problem.
