Problem with loading on Google Chrome

    I’ve updated our website recently with some new projects and now I encounter a problem with loading the website in Google Chrome. It keeps on displaying a white page with a blue loading circle and gets stuck there. Other webbrowsers like firefox and microsoft edge seem to work fine, also the mobile version of Chrome seems to work, it’s just the desktop Chrome that stopped working. I’ve tried it on multiple pc’s on different locations, all the same result. I already emtpied the cache, made sure I updated all theme’s and plugins. Also emptied the cache, history and cookies from Chrome. Does anyone know what might be the problem?

    Try disabling your caching plugin as a test. Does it resolve the issue?

    Thanks for your reply! I tried disabling and even completely removing the caching pluging but that sadly didn’t help.

    Have you tried deactivating the BWP plugin? I noticed it’s still active. I recommend not using this plugin, as it has been outdated for several years and is no longer supported, as you can see here.

    You may also want to check the error logs using your browser’s developer tools (F12), under the Console section.

    Additionally, you can consider running a conflict test for your themes and plugins to pinpoint the culprit:

    – Switch to a WordPress default theme, like “Twenty Twenty-Three”.
    – Temporarily deactivate all of your plugins
    – Reactivate the plugins one by one while checking for the issue.

    Hi Sania,

    I did some backtracing on the last changes and i noticed that I had two menu’s assigned to the top navigation menu. After that i deactivated the BWP plugin and the website works again! Not sure which of the two caused the problem but I’m happy it’s working ??

    EDIT: I see there is a proble with Jetpack Boost, since it works again if i desactivate it

    ich habe das gleiche Problem, in google Chrome werden die Bilder des Artikels nicht angezeigt, die Vorschaubilder aber schon. Inzwischen hab ich das Plugin deaktiviert und auch gel?scht und der Fehler wurde nicht behoben. Erst als ich im webspace alle “wep” gel?scht hatte funktioniert Chrome wieder richtig.
