Problem with Log in

  • Hi, I have a blog and until last week I was able to log in perfectly on in.

    Last week I tried to use my user/pass and the log in screen appears once and again.

    No wrong password message at all, in just appears and appears.

    I tried to recover the password but the system doesn’t send the email and I even tried to use emergency.php script, recovered the password, received the email but when I try to log in again it doesn’t work.

    What can I do?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
