Problem with Meta Titles & Categories

    WordPress SEO version: 1.3.4.1
    Theme: Canvas Theme from WooThemes

    I just noticed a problem with my post/page Meta Titles.

    I have them set to be %%title%% | Some Text

    But I noticed that the site name was being added to the end of this. I tied disabling plugins, no help. HOWEVER, I noticed that if I check the option Force rewrite titles on the General type, then the site name is not added to title and all is good. EXCEPT that now, when I navigate to any category, i.e. mysite.com/category/something

    I get 404 errors.

    When I uncheck Force rewrite titles, then the category pages appear correctly – except the meta title now has the site name twice!
