Hi! I really love this theme, especially as I was able to tweak the header and footer to my liking. I really appreciate the fact that the theme looks good with or without featured images. Thank you for creating it! ??

I just have one problem left. When I test the appearance of the mobile version in the Customizer, the “Start here!” sub-menu will not open up. I can click on the text until the cows come home, but nothing happens.

Although I’m able to edit CSS pretty well, I have no experience with PHP and haven’t touched JS in over a decade, so if solving this requires creating a child theme and editing the code, I’ll probably just have to change the menu so all the links are top-level.

But if I can fix it via CSS, that would make me very happy. ??

    Thanks in advance!

  • It does not work on the mobile version in the Customizer but is working perfectly well on a real mobile phone.

    Hi there,

I can replicate the same using responsive mode in the browser dev tools on my computer. But if I load it, and then reload it, the submenu expands fine. And view your site in Chrome on my Android phone that menu works just fine, first time. This tells me it’s likely just the desktop browser not being able at all times to correctly interpret the code the mobile menu uses, which wouldn’t be a bug, as the code was written for a mobile browser, not desktop.

Can you check on a mobile device on your end to see if you can replicate it there at all?

If you cannot replicate this error on an actual mobile device, then it’s just the desktop browser that’s the problem, and not something in the theme that’s broken.

Ah, thank you! I avoid putting my smart phone online as much as possible, but I did try using a mobile emulator on my browser and it worked just fine. Phew! There’s no better solution to a problem than discovering you have no problem, ha!

I officially have no complaints about this theme. Love it! ?? Thanks again!

PS: This is unrelated, but how do you change your profile image here on WP.org? I couldn’t find the option when I was editing my profile.

Ah, I should have figured that out. I just change my email to the one I use on Gravatar. Thank you!
