• Hi guys, great plugin but i have an issue.

    I have member lvl 1
    member lvl 2
    member lvl 3

I would like to put a content in the welcome page where member lvl 1 can see “lvl 1” members lvl 2 can see “lvl 2” and so on.

The problem is that lvl 3 members can see lvl 3 content but lvl 2 and lvl 1 content 2.

It seems that the shortcode work like “show this content to all lvl 2 members or higher”.
There is a way to only show a content to a specific role exluding the higest roles?

If you’re talking about WordPress user levels, those were deprecated in WordPress 3.0. Use roles or capabilities. But yes, that is the way levels work. That’s why they were deprecated I imagine.

No i’m using the Optimizemember plugin. But there is not the possibility to restrict the access of a content only to a specific role user and not to the above roles too?

Well, we don’t anywhere state that we support special kinds of roles created by third party plugins other than Role Scoper and Press Permit Core. I don’t know what OptimizeMember is, and don’t know how they assign their levels. But the issue isn’t with Eyes Only. If Optimize Member assigns levels to users exponentially, then that’s the way their levels are intended to be.

You can of course do this:

    [eyesonly level="lvl2"][eyesonlier level="lvl3" hide="yes"]content for lvl2[/eyesonlier][/eyesonly]
