Problem with PayPal

Hello,
I have installed the plugin in the free version to test it before buying the premium version. Everything works good except the payment with PayPal. I have not the SSL, but I’m not interested to IPN Setup, so I think I’m not obbliged to buy it. Am I right?
The IPN Setup checkbox is not checked but when I try to buy the website brings me to this link:

Are these 2 things joined?
