problem with php 8.2.7

    hello Frank ??

    for our site we have activated the generate press theme and your plugin Autoptimize ( as recommended by gebnerate press documentation) However, we have noticed that it conflicts with the latest php version 8.2.7.

    is it not compatible with this version of php?

    Hmm, it should work just fine really; I have multiple sites on PHP8 including 8.2 and the unit tests are also ran on 8.2.

    What conflicts do you get (and where)? Do you see any PHP errors from AO in the PHP-errorlog?

    until this morning everything was fine, then sites gave this error in the early afternoon … I don’t know if it can help, but this is the warning that i have read in plesk:

    AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Fatal error: preg_replace(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in?/var/www/vhosts/materax.it/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/autoptimize/classes/autoptimizeStyles.php?on line 858’

    weird .. no link with PHP version, but an error in a pretty simple preg_replace … what -if anything- got updated this morning (plugins, theme, …)?
