i have the same problem and i am not sure that i understand what you mean? where exactly in functions.php

You may add the code example anywhere in your theme’s functions.php file. However, the easiest way would be to just add it after the last line in the functions.php file.

You may need to hire a web developer to help you with this request if you don’t know how to add the code example to your theme’s functions.php file.
