• Hi everyone,

My site, hasteyhumanist.com, went live yesterday. But when I try to share blog posts or pages on Facebook, I get the following prepopulated link message:

“The Hastey Humanist – Coming Soon
This page is used to test the proper operation of your recent MOJO Marketplace installation of WordPress! If you can read this page it means your installation was successful.”

I called MOJO support and the gentleman who helped me said that it was probably an issue with the theme. I don’t have the same problem when I share posts on Twitter. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you muchly!

  • Did you try switching to anther theme (ideally 2016) to confirm that this is an issue in the theme?

If you shared a link a Facebook previous to the site going live and the Coming Soon page still being active, it could also be that Facebook is caching the results from a previous share. I’ve never used this, but Facebook provides a Debug tool. Maybe it can give you some more information: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Thank you both! I used the Debug tool and installed Yoast. After a little bit of fiddling with Yoast to fix the issues the Debug tool highlighted, I got it to work. Thank you again!
