Problem with product categories in menu section of wordpress

  • Hi,

    I have problem with product categories in menu section of WordPress. Don’t know if it’s WooCommerce problem or WordPress itself. I have 62 items in product categories and I want to make 100 there.
    I’m also building with these items menu, but when there were fewer items in menu section they looked good, now when they are 62 it not looks good. Here screen of what I mean:

    Here is sorted from A to Z instead of look like in Product Categories section.

    At beginning there looks ok, it is not sorted but set as in Product Categories section:

    Website is still in development that’s why I didn’t provide the link, because it has not frontend yet, but I can give backed access if you need.

    My apologies, I thought it was a front-end problem.

    The categories act like children from their parent category. Did you already checked the (parent) categories if they have children?

    Here is video how it looks like, when categories are about 50 there is ok, but above that number it is not looking good in menu. I have another website that has 55 categories and only about 5 are from A to Z, rest look good in menu section. Here are more sorted from A to Z:

    Hi @rafx,

    Thanks for sending over the video of what you’re seeing. It appears to me that in the navigation builder (Appearance > Menus), the parent/child relationship of the product categories works correctly for the first portion of them. But eventually, that relationship is lost and all the categories appear to be top-level. This is in the section where the product categories are selected to be added to the navigation menu.

    Does this also happen if you set up the menu in the customizer (Appearance > Customize > Menus)? Does this happen with only WooCommerce and the Twenty Nineteen theme active?

    Let me know and we’ll go from there.
