Problem with Pure theme by Theme Trust

So to confirm, this only occurs with your theme? Have you tried keeping your theme and The Events Calendar active and disabling all other plugins?

I just tried disabling all plugins except The Events Calendar and my theme with the same result, my homepage won’t load and I get the error posted earlier. As soon as I deactivate the Events Calendar it starts working. It worked also just before the update to 3.1

I also posted on the forum of the theme developer and they said to contact the plugin authors first as they couldn’t find anything abnormal in their code.

I would also be glad to update to the pro version if this can help sort this out.

The references to the wp_bramsicl_languages and wp_bramsicl_translations tables interest me – do you know which plugin these relate to?

That would most probably be WPML (https://wpml.org)
It’s a pretty popular blog translation plugin.

In the case where the issue is not resolvable, is there a way I can downgrade the plugin ?

If it does indeed relate to WPML then, sadly, we are unable to assist with this. We do have instructions for downgrading though:

But it still fails with wplm de-activated, can it still be related ?

Does this still occur with all other plugins deactivated and with a default, unmodified theme?

With a default theme it works. It seems to be a conflict between the theme I use and the Events Calendar. I also sent a support request on the theme forum and they say it’s not their code… So I’m not sure what to do next. What I do know is that it worked before I updated to 3.1

Unfortunately, though compatibility with as wide a range of themes as possible is important to us, we can’t get in to the specifics of troubleshooting issues like this that occur only with one specific theme – which is why we treat default themes like Twenty Twelve and Twenty Thirteen as a baseline.
