Problem with redirect Yoast SEO: Search Index Purge

    Hi to everyone,

    i’m glad to discovered your plugin because it’s changed my way to do SEO. it’s absolutely fantastic! God work guys!

    But, i find a simple problem, (if i could give a small advice, insert this point in your tutorial!)

    i have a plugin for redirect the page of attachment to my home page:

    Redirection: PAGE

    this plugin simply redirect the page that i have insert to the home page. The problem (for my index) is that i could find page like …/image.1 or worse …/cropped-image.1…

    I have to remove the Redirection plugin? Or i could kept it for redirect people to the home page?

    ps: I have a small site, at most 6 page of google research, how much time take the plugin for clean my index status?

    Hi Andrea,

    We are not familiar with the Redirection plugin so we are not sure how exactly it works. We would say if the plugin is making redirects correctly then you can expect Google to eventually drop those pages off from Google.

    We suggest contacting Redirection to confirm it is working correctly here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/redirection/.

    You may also wish to contact Google for more information on exactly when those pages will drop off. You may?contact Google by making a post on their forums:?https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters.
