Problem with Related Posts when I use Random

    Hello,
    when I set random in the related posts nothing happens.
    My settings:
    Posts query
    Related Posts by: Categories
    Order by: Random
    Order: ASC
    Grid Column Layout: 2
    Total Number of Related Posts: 2
    Always 2 same posts are displayed ??

    If I set Total number of related posts to 10, then 10 posts are displayed in 2 columns.
    It would be better if within the 2 columns the 10 posts are displayed in different order (for example every hour or after every page refresh different posts) and not all 10 in 2 columns. I hope you understand what I mean.

    Theme is the latest version.
    There is also no caching plugin enabled.

    I tried this on my dev site and worked fine. I also checked your site and also worked fine on my end. Check out this video, please.

    thank you for the quick reply.
    The way you have tried it works.
    Maybe I understand the function wrong.
    I have thought that it works like this:
    I call a post and there are 2 related posts displayed. If I reload or revisit the page from this post I am shown 2 other posts from the same category.
    At the moment, the 2 same posts are always displayed under a post without them changing.

    No, that’s not how the Related Post works. The posts that show up on the Related Post section are “static”.

    If you have several posts in a category it is nice if they are also shown and not always the same.

    No, it has not. We haven’t done any improvements related to the Related Post.
