Problem with restoring from a backup
-
I goofed up in changing the URL for the WordPress site on the General settings page and I’m having a problem in recovering from that. I had a database back up from 24 hours ago.
I have reinstalled WordPress and created a minimal version using the default twentyeleven theme. I set it up via the Readings settings so that the site shows a static Home Page and blog posts will come under the Blog tab. This is the format for my existing blog.
I have now via phpMyAdmin attempted to import the back-up file and it looks as though this goes fine. However now in accessing the blog website, all I get is the following message.
Table ‘bwelford_smmbc.wp_fm_settings’ doesn’t exist
Via phpMyAdmin I have the following 11 tables in the database:
wp_commentmeta
wp_comments
wp_links
wp_lockdowns
wp_login_fails
wp_options
wp_postmeta
wp_posts
wp_terms
wp_term_relationships
wp_term_taxonomy
wp_usermeta
wp_usersThe total size is about what it should be given the posts, etc. I have made. I believe the number of tables previously in the blog as it existed before this was 18.
Can anyone tell me how I can correct this situation? All help is most appreciated.
