    Hi
I have a longer time about 10 plugins. I wanted to add a positive review to everyone but managed to add only to 2. Then a message appeared:

ERROR: Duplicate topic detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!

Do I have for each plugin invent another review? That’s not possible. At the moment plugins that are in the first place alphabetically, will have more review. Please do something with this.

I do believe it’s because each of your reviews has the same title and the same comment. For reviews to be useful and relevant, they should each be unique.

So you have to allow users to add stars (rate plugin) without adding review. I think there are many such they check how many stars has a plugin and how many people added stars.

Why do you think repeating the same thing over and over again is a good idea?

Sorry, I could not resist and I honestly mean no offense. ??

Here’s the issue: the reviews remain feedback. When you do the same review over and over again for different plugins or themes, you devalue the reviews. Also when you do that, you look like a bot and that’s not good either.

It’s fine to leave reviews for every plugin or theme you use. But please, write each one individually as if you meant it.

The stars are one measure but the real information is in the text left by the reviewer.

I am writing this all because I want to help but I may be wrong. What should I write if I am 100% satisfied? I am satisfied with… and replace all the advantages? I think it will be like 50/50 reviews: “I am happy with the plugin. Thanks.” the author of the plugin will know that his plugin is good and that it does not have to change anything in it.

Just so I am clear, it is fine for you to review plugins or themes in any way you choose to. Having the same review words on 21 different plugins is OK.

I’m just asking you to please consider taking some time and leave a more comprehensive review about what you liked about the plugin/theme, what did you not like, how would you improve it, etc.

But again, the way you have been leaving a review is alright too.

If your review is completely worthless and devoid of meaning or content, then why leave it at all?

We tie the stars to reviews so that you leave something meaningful and useful around to inform others of what you have to say, instead of leaving just a “4 star” or whatever, which does nothing to help anybody.

If you’re not going to write a review with meaning or useful content, then don’t write a review at all. Go do something else instead. We don’t need your “votes”, we need your actual, useful, opinions in order to help other people.

Your choices matter, and your opinions matter. If you don’t actually have those, then don’t try to fake them because you think that the fakes will be helpful in some manner.

If you leave the same review repeatedly, then we’ll probably delete your reviews as spam or fake. So, why bother?
