problem with search field

thanks. From what I can, this is caused by your theme. The JavaScript file wp-content/themes/News2/js/shortcodes.elements.js contains a call to the JS function mixItUp() which does not exist however. Due to that, the browser experiences and error on the page and stop the execution of JavaScript. And because of that, the search field is not added.

You will have to contact the theme developer about this and ask them for a fix in their theme.

What exactly do you want to change about the position? You likely won’t have to change a file, but just set a configuration option and maybe some CSS.

Moving the search box is possible with this “Custom CSS”:

for adding checkboxes, you will have to manually add their respective HTML code to the table cells, and then probably put the table into a HTML form.
