Problem with "SearchListing" element transaltation in cyrlic -unreadable symbols

    Hello!
    I am trying to create a real estate agency website. I am pretty new in it. I first met WordPress 3 days ago, so excuse me if my question is foolish. I have a problem with the translation of the shortcode widgets e.g. “Search Listing”, “List of Listing”. What I wanted to do is to translate the labels and the select options of a search form in Bulgarian language (it is a cyrilic one). I created a template about it. And the result is awful – unreadable symbols. Could you tell me please how I could handle with this issue? I have similar problem with the information for my properti listings, which is also in Bulgarin.I have good knowlede in HTML and CSS, but nothing in common with PHP. Thank you in advance!

    Hi,

    Unfortunately our plugin does not take advantage of some of the mechanisms WordPress provides to make translation easy. It’s something that we hope to address in the future.

    In this case, however, it sounds as if there is a more fundamental problem, perhaps having to do with the locale or character set in use. We don’t have particular expertise in internationalization and so encourage you to ask for help in additional forums.
