Problem with selecting part of photo when uploading profile photo

  • Hi,

    I am using Ultimate Member version 2.0.39.

    I have an issue with user profile photos. When a user uploads a profile photo in the “User” page, there is an option to select a part of the photo with a rectangle. However regardless of the selection, it seems that the whole photo is uploaded and then used.

    Is this the expected behavior ?

    Hi @ivitae,

    It looks like a conflict with your theme or with one of your plugins.
    Please do a quick conflict test and see if this issue goes away.
    Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Hi,

    I followed the instructions – deactivated all non Ultimate Member plugins and switched to the default Twenty Fifteen theme, however the problem still exists.

    When I upload a profile photo and use the rectangle to select part of the photo, still the whole photo is uploaded regardless of my selection.
