In our footer, we have 20 links. They all have the “elementor-icon-list-text” class.

2 out of 20 links, should be selectable by the users (all other content on our website is not selectable)

I gave those 2 links’ parent a “cancopy” class.

Then in “Selection exclude by class name” I set “canopy” and even “cacopy > elementor-icon-list-text”, but it doesn’t work. It doesn’t make ONLY THOSE 2 LINKS selectable.

And if I set “elementor-icon-list-text” in that setting, then all the 20 links will be selectable.

We use Elementor’s Icons List widget to create those links, and we can’t give to each specific link a dedicated class. So, the only thing helping us to fix this issue, is that you make the “Selection exclude by class name” to accept values like “class > OtherClass”. This way we can specifically select an element in a page, even if there are many other elements with that same class.

Any plan to fix this, please?

Those 2 links are our company’s legal info and we should make them selectable/copyable to users.

    Thanks
