Problem with Simple Ads Manager plugin

    Hi,
    I have problem using Duplicator with Siple Ads Manager

    If this plugin (Simple Ads Manager) is running, Duplicator has problem to create a package. Step 3 (Build Package) runs very long (about 15 minutes) and finally stops with error “Server Status: 504 -Gateway Time-out”.
    But despite of this error, the package is created and is usable. I tried to unpack this package (using standard installer.php) and it works fine, without errors.

    I have found, that the problem is caused by one table created by Simple Ads Manager plugin. If I configure Duplicator to exclude table wp_sam_stats, everything is ok (but Simple Ads Manager plugin is not fully duplicated). Package is created in 10 secs. Table wp_sam_stats contains (probably) statistics of the plugin, has (in my case) about 700,000 rows (about 40 MB).

    Is it possible, that the table wp_sam_stats is too big for using Duplicator, or is there a way how to fix this problem?

  • Hey Swisst,

    Some budget hosts don’t offer the mysqldump option, but if your host does then you can go to the settings menu and enable the mysqldump option which should be able to handle that many records.
