Problem with Sitemap

    Good morning everyone,
    I was checking why my site is no longer receiving visits and is actually not indexed!
    Yoast is configured correctly, as is the sitemap, but it is not updating.
    Search Console tells me “Temporary Sitemap Error”
    I also notice that if I access my sitemap, some links to posts or pages are light gray, others with black font.
    I don’t understand what happened

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I’ve addressed your concerns below:

    I performed a site search and there were only two search results in Google. See screenshot.

    Search Console tells me “Temporary Sitemap Error”

    Kindly remove all sitemaps you may have submitted to Google Search Console and only submit the /sitemap_index.xml/: Submit Your Sitemap To Search Engines

    I also notice that if I access my sitemap, some links to posts or pages are light gray, others with black font.

    The grey links in your sitemap mean the URLs that you have previously visited. If you click on one of the darker links and return to the sitemap, the link will turn grey as well. This is how your browser marks URLs which you have previously visited. It does not mean anything from an SEO point of view. Here’s a screenshot of your sitemap index when I haven’t clicked any child sitemap and another screenshot after clicking a couple.

    Thanks for the advice. I did everything right away. Let’s hope it works!
    I don’t understand why Google is ignoring my site. Also, my latest Portfolio work is missing from my sitemap. I don’t understand why!

    I also noticed (same sitemap) that on Bing there are many more pages indexed

    Kindly monitor the results in Google Search Console for a couple of weeks.

    I keep having the same problem. I uploaded the site from scratch, inserted only the content that interested me. I still have the sitemap that does not update. Example in my sitemap:

    https://www.andrea-rinaldi.it/sitemap_index.xml

    The portfolio works do not appear, for example:

    https://www.andrea-rinaldi.it/portfolio/grafica,seo,siti-web/ufficio-scolastico-territoriale-pistoia/

    https://www.andrea-rinaldi.it/portfolio/grafica,seo,siti-web/scuole-che-promuovono-salute-toscana/

    Also if I do a search site:www.andrea-rinaldi.it I only find two pages.

    Anyway the most obvious problem is that the yoast sitemap does not update the “portfolio” area
