    Good evening

Unfortunately my old thread got marked resolved and not getting any replys anymore.
Apparently there might be a problem with my Smush tables, but I don’t know what that means. I don’t use any plugin with that name and my understanding is this is an part from updraft?

How do I remove the current version of Smush and install a fresh copy as suggested?

Thanks a lot for your help

    Hello

My upload folder is about 100 GB, should I really split the archive into 25MB pieces or is this a typo and you meant 250MB?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

No, this is not a typo. If needs be we can move the split a bit higher. This is for testing purposes

25MB is the limit that we set just to say that if we split it this low and it does not complete, then the size of the split is not the issue.

    Hello

I have set it to 25MB, but unfortunately it still does not work. Here is the log file: https://we.tl/t-Uuv2TpoLii

    Hi,

I realise that you have said that your upped your memory limit to 512 but your log is still reporting it as 256, can you check this?

    Hello,

I checked the wp-config.php and the following code is included:

    define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');

I also checked the status page of Woocommerce which also says 512MB

    Hi Alfo,

    Can you do the following;

Can you try backup up just your Uploads

Can you try deactivating your other plugins and running a backup

Can you also send us your php error logs?

    Hello

I have set the split to 25MB, deactivated all plugins beside three which are necessary and selected to backup only “uploads”. Unfortunately it still does not work. Here are screenshots and error logs:

Can you try removing the following folder from your Uploads: backwpup-1ec2b3-logs and then trying a backup

    (@alfonsberger)

Deleted the folder and tried to backup only uploads again, but it still does not work. Here is the log file: https://we.tl/t-uFRNmF6BZ6

    Hi,

Apologies for the ongoing inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience. I have asked my colleague to take a look at this as well to see if they have any further thoughts on why the process is stalling.

    Hi,

Apologies for the delay in replying.

If you have not done so already, please could you or your hosts/server admin try adjusting the PHP maximum execution time to 900 seconds? Any other timeout limit for PHP, such as FastCGI, would also need increasing

    Thread Starter Alfo

    (@alfonsberger)

    Hi,
Thanks for your help! I contacted my hosting provider. They do not use FastCGI only mod_php. They suggested to use the following code:

    php_value upload_max_filesize 128M
    php_value post_max_size 128M
    php_value max_execution_time 900
    php_value max_input_time 900

Which I have added to the .htaccess file

Unfortunately the backup of uploads (split in 25MB files) still does not work. Not locally and not uploading to the cloud. The log file looks the same as always.

Backing up “Themes” “Plugins” and the database works just fine.

    Appreciate your help
