• Hi, I was recently using the oxygen theme where I had it set to a static homepage and be default this theme showed my latest posts on the homepage.

I have now changed to Radius theme and to achieve the same effect, I obviously have to change from a static homepage to ‘your latest posts’. My problem is now I have a page called ‘home’ in my top menu that is useless. (on previous theme it was the same url as my homepage)

What I want to be able to do is to change that page so that when someone clicks on it, it automatically refers back to my homepage url which is https://www.psycholocrazy.com and it is currently https://www.psycholocrazy.com/home

You know, because that is the whole point of having a ‘home’ menu at the top of the website.

Does anyone know how I can do this? I would be very grateful. Thanks

  • OK, lets see if I get it..
So do you mean that you wanna that your home (psycholocrazy.com) show your latest posts?
‘Cuz if that’s the problem, have you tried to remove the “home” from the menu? (appearance>menus). Or you can remove and add a custom link too.
AND you can also erase the page called “home”
If you don’t have a menu you can create one and choose it as main menu.

I’ll try to explain it as simply as I can as its hard to explain.

1.I changed my homepage (psycholocrazy.com) from static to show my latest posts. This works fine and I’m happy.

    2. Beforehand, the ‘home’ option on my top menu had the url (psycholocrazy.com) so that whenever i entered my site the ‘home’ page was the default homepage (psycholocrazy.com)

    3. Now that same ‘home’ menu at the top has the url (psycholocrazy.com/home) which as you can see has now referred back to its default demo write up.

    4. I would like to change this ‘home’ menu url from (psycholocrazy.com/home) to (psycholocrazy.com) so it was like it was before.

    5. I realise I could just delete the ‘home’ menu but I had it optimised with all in one seo plugin and this page provides my meta description in search rankings. So it makes sense to me anyway, that if i could just merge it with my homepage url then it would save a lot of mess.

To sum it up. I just want it so that when someone navigates to another page/post on my site that they can just click ‘home’ at the top to return them to the homepage. It must be possible but I can’t find a solution.
