How do I deactivate when I can’t get to the dash board?

Figured out how to get my site back up and I got the dashboard back:

How do you get into the admin page? It doesn’t let you =S

I have the same problem. How do you deactivate it when you can’t get to the dashboard?

This plugin update was a complete disaster, but a makeshift solution for getting into your dashboard is below:

I have found a backdoor solution to this issue that may help:

You can get into your dashboard if your blog is set up to email you a notification whenever your blog gets a comment (I have mine sent to a private ‘gmail’ address.)

Look up your blog as a general user would on an internet browser (as if you were looking at it as a guest and not logging into it as a user) and leave a comment on one of your articles/stories.

The system will email you a notification that your blog has a comment waiting to be reviewed, and it will typically provide a backdoor link for you to log into to take you to your comment page.

Once there (the backdoor comment page) flip over to your plugins and deactivate statsurfer. Once you do this, the problem should go away. FYI, I completely deleted the plugin (instead of just deactivating it) and right now my blog seems to be back up and running.

Let me know if this helps or if anyone has an easier solution in case this ever happens again.

I just encountered the same problem today. I upgraded the stats surfer program and now I can’t login to my blog at all! This is very frustrating because I tried the back door method and it still pops up the header warning as followed please help!

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home2/zatoonre/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/statsurfer/include/system.php:62) in /home2/zatoonre/public_html/blog/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 890

    somebody please help!!!

I just encountered the same problem today. I upgraded the stats surfer program and now I can’t login to my blog at all!

I confirm this problem – WordPress 3.0.1 don’t work with StatSurfer 1.1.1. When I downgrade to 1.0.5 everything work fine.

So how do I get back into my blog(dashboard). I tried the back door method and I still get the header warning. Who can help me?

Does anyone know who I should contactfor this problem ?

I called my web hosting service, and they helped me fix it.

    doesn’t show results in admin…
nor a feedback for the widget
