Problem with string translation and custom links

    I have used this tool and worked everything fine BUT, string translations do not get translated even though the translated text is shown in string translation tab of polylang. They do not seem to apply on front face website. The second problem I have is that I can’t bind a custom link to the translated custom link. As a result to this loss of bind it redirects to homepage.

    In wpml the custom link was also shown as a string translation. In polylang it doesn’t. Any help please?
