    Hello!
Thanks for a great plugin – love it!
    I’ve got a problem though.
I have a complicated structure with load of parent and child pages. Where each child is having a multiple parents (at least two).
In order not to overload the site I want to use custom menu option, when child pages will be displayed on parent’s pages as menus, whilst physically being only created once.
The problem is: the plugin works fine, when the child page is physically present, but when it is a SUB page (a menu item) it doesn’t show it according to shortcode settings. It shows it as plain unordered list, while I have
    [child_pages cols=”4″ child_pages thumbs=’small’ child_pages hide_excerpt=”true” child_pages skin=”simple”].
I’ve tried the shortcode using child pages ids (as suggested in one topic here), doesn’t work either.
As a temporary measure I’m duplicating the child pages and place them under parents, but it multiplies the site load extensively.
    Any ideas for solution?
Please, let me know, if you need more specific information.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi.

This plugin displays child pages, it does not use WordPress menus in any way … I will be doing more work on this plugin in the next couple of weeks and can look at how feasible it would be to extend the functionality, but I suspect that a custom plugin to work with menus would probably be the answer.

Hi. After looking into how this might work with menus, I am still of the opinion that a separate plugin would be the most sensible route. I may look at creating one at some point in the future.
