• I have installed a child theme created with the Child Theme Configurator plugin. It is the active theme.

I’ve never had a problem updating the Sydney theme.

When I installed the Sydney 1.85 theme update, everything looks different and problems appear.

The font has changed in general. Social icons are shown in red. Before they were gray. Duplicate buttons appear to link to the next project. Before there was only one button next project and another button previous project. Now there are four. The image does not appear in the blog entries although I have been able to adjust that.

The most important problem. The three column footer now shows a full width column. It is configured in the child theme as three columns, but only one is visible. All witchets appear in that column. It is the same if you choose one, two or three columns you always see a full width column.

Create another new child theme but the problem remains the same. I deleted the child themes and installed the Sydney child theme from aThemes. The same problem. I had the same data.

If I activate the parent theme, it looks good. The footer has three columns but the settings I made in the child theme are missing.

How can I upgrade to Sydney version 1.85 using the child theme I had set up?

    Thanks.

The current active theme is a Sydney 1.76 child theme created with the Child Theme Configurator plugin. Everything works correctly.
I want to update the Sydney theme to 1.85

(In my previous post when I said witchet I meant widget, sorry)
