Problem with synchro of short description when product has variations

    Hi,

    I use Facebook for WooCommerce in order to have a Facebook product catalog for my WooCommerce store.
    There is a problem when a product has variations (for example: variation 1 = 100g bag and variation 2 = 40g bag).
    I ask the plugin to synchronize the product short description but for a product which has variations, it synchronizes the name of the variation (for example “100g bag”) instead of its short description.
    Could you please solve this issue in the next version of the plugin asap?

    Hey @fotske – can you please verify for us whether this also happens when you follow these steps:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

    Hi,

    The problem is the same.
    The problem is that (for a product with variations) your plugin takes the “Description” of the variation instead of the “Short Description” of the WooCommerce product.

    Please correct this in your plugin.

    Thank you for letting us know the problem persists, I’d like to get a little bit of information to see if we can replicate the issue.

    To start, could you please provide us with a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in the chat.
