Problem with tables

Seem to having a problem with using a table in Pages. I add the table (contains images with captions linking to various pages on the site) and it works fine, but as soon as I go to edit the page again, everything disappears.

The only way to get it back is to redo the entire table again, even though none of the code changes. I also found that if i remove the content from the last cell, it comes up again, but as soon as I add something, it disappears from the frontend again.

Any ideas what could be causing this?
