    Hi,

I have the Facebook pixel installed on my website thanks to Pixel Caffeine.
In Facebook’s Business Manager I have the following message about my Pixel (I’m sorry the message is in French but maybe you understand):

    “PROBLèME
Un ou plusieurs de vos évènements ? AddToCart ? a des paramètres de valeur d’évènement non valides. L’évènement n’a peut-être pas de paramètre de valeur de conversion ou de devise. Le format du paramètre de valeur peut être incorrect.
    SOLUTION

It seems that there is a problem with the parameters of the Add to Cart event.
The code extract must contain at least a value and a currency parameter.

I have just installed the Pixel with your plugin, nothing else.
Is there a problem with the plugin?
    How can it be solved?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

they seem issues that I already fixed or most probably they are related to them. Please, try to download the plugin with newest fixes (that are not available yet, but it will be soon in a new version) form the following URL and replace with the one you have in your website: https://www.dropbox.com/s/adubf6homp2p15v/pixel-caffeine.2.0.0.zip?dl=1

Try it and let me know, thanks ??

    Hi @antonscarface,

I have now Pixel Caffeine version 2.0.1 but the message is still there in Facebook Business > Pixels.

There is still a problem with the parameters of the Add to Cart event.
It says that the code extract must contain at least a value and a currency parameter.
And that the value field must contain a decimal number greater or equal to zero and don’t include letters, special characters, curreny symbols or commas.

Here is an example of the code extract that causes problem: (there are several, I can send them to you by email if you give me your email address)

    {“value”:”NaN”,”currency”:”EUR”,”content_name”:””,”content_type”:”product”,”content_ids”:”[\”MAT001\”]”,”userAgent”:”Mozilla\/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident\/7.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; McAfee; rv:11.0) like Gecko”,”language”:”fr-BE”}

I don’t know anything about coding but the currecy seems to be EUR which is correct.
Maybe it’s the “value” parameter which causes problem because it’s “NaN” (I don’t know what it means)?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Best regards

    Hi @antoscarface,

I have the very last version of the Pixel Caffeine plugin but I still have the error/warning in Facebook’s Business Manager about my Pixel:

“Paramètres de valeur d’évènement non valides:
    PROBLèME
Un ou plusieurs de vos évènements ? AddToCart ? a des paramètres de valeur d’évènement non valides. L’évènement n’a peut-être pas de paramètre de valeur de conversion ou de devise. Le format du paramètre de valeur peut être incorrect.

Le champ de valeur doit contenir un nombre décimal supérieur ou égal à zéro et ne doit pas inclure de lettres, de caractères spéciaux, de symboles de devise ou de virgules.”

So the same problem is still there…

    How to fix it?

Thank you very much in advance for your answer.

    Hi,

are you able to check the AddToCart events fired from your website? It seems that some product fires AddToCart without value parameter or with a wrong value. You can check it with the Pixel Helper Extension.

Otherwise, if you can, you might also post your website URL so I can check from myself.
    Let me know.

    Hi,

I don’t think that I still have the error because I don’t see the warning in Facebook anymore.

I have tried to Add a product to the cart on my website and 2 new events are fired when I do that: “SubscribedButtonClick” and “AddToCart”.
And for “AddToCart” I have a value of 29.9 and currency EUR, which are correct.

However, I have a warning for the “AddToCart” event: “This pixel is not paired with any product catalog. Please associate this pixel with a catalog using the Catalog Manager at https://www.facebook.com/products/.”
Is it the Product Catalog Feed?
If yes, I tried to do one with Pixel Caffeine but it doesn’t work.
I have opened another ticket for that.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi,

yes, the warning is referred to the Product Catalog. When you use “content_ids” inside the DAP pixels, Facebook needs to pair the IDs inside that parameter in the product catalog associated with the Pixel ID you are using. You can do it by Pixel Caffeine and I’ll take a look soon at your topic about feed issue ??

So, I’m going to close this one ??
    Thank you.
