Problem with The Events Calendar

Hi,

I’ve got a conflict with The Events Calendar (TEC) plugin, I wonder if you could help?

I’m using the free version of TEC, so the events index page is at /events. However, when I try to view this page in Japanese, I get an error:

I also cannot view the month view, I’m stuck in list view for the events. When I click on either the month or list view link on the page, the URL changes to this and the error disappears:
