Problem with the menu when I change the language

Deactivate all your plugins, except Polylang. Then could you change your theme to the Twenty Fifteen default theme and see if your English and Italian menus work correctly?

Before changing front page form itl to eng, everything was fine… with all plugins.. No, I just can not fix the problem ??

Is it possible that inside some codes have some bug script and it remember something from before. Because everything was fine before I’ve decided to change front page into English version. Now, when I try to put everything back like it was, it’s just not possible.. I still have the same problem ??

Could you edit your English and Italian home page, then provide me some screenshots of your these pages? A also a screenshot of the Settings > Reading options?

Well, yes I didn’t explain vary good. The front home page (torrecorta.land) was first on Italian language. And the “second home page” (Something like: torrecorta.land/en) was on English version. Both pages were connected together (and are still connected) with your plug-in… After I’ve change torrecorta.land into English version that problem happen. What I did?: I didn’t realized that “the star” in your program is for “default language”, so I’ve change whole text (I know, I’m not so cleaver ?? ), and I’ve change which menu is for which front page (eng or it). And I did that correctly… After that I can see it correctly only if I refresh the page.

I can send you username and password (private on mail). Is that easier for you?

I will upload in a few minutes everything what you ask, but if you want, it’s not a problem to give you a password and everything else you need… because I really want to have that plug-in on this page. It is the best one…

I’ve tried to make everything from beginning… whole site (locally). And I’ve installed plug in for languages (the new version). And now I have another problem. When I install your plug-in I do not have anymore option inside menu to activate “language switcher”.. so I tried something else…
I’ve tried to activate the widget “language switcher” into “Page slidebar 1”, but when I get in Dashboard and when I click on “Customized your site”, inside “Menus” I have an icon “settings” where when I click on it I can find “language switcher”, but after I choose that, I do not have option “save and publish”. So I didn’t know what to do, so I delete, and uninstall plug in, and I took the old version and activate everything again. Of course, it remember everything from before, and again, it’s the same problem.
So, now… On web site (already up) I have the first problem (We discuss before about that) and on a local site (where I started everything from beginning I have one problem more :((( Please, help me with this. I’ll lose complete my hair ??

I’ve got the same problem. I want to switch the default language after running the blog for a while but

1. I don’t know how as there is no drop-down any longer.

(2. installing an older version of your (really great) plugin just to use the drop-down did mess up the permalinks even though I’ve let them re-create by clicking “update” in “permalinks”.)

@chrystl : unfortunately not. Even changing the figure for “order” has no effect on “default language” which is marked with a star.
