Problem with title tags

  • This is my first time asking for help, so far I’ve been able to set a blog on my own. But there’s something I just can’t figure out.

    When I open the blog in a browser, when I click on a post , the browser window shows me something like this:www.gameater.com/?p=33. I would like to replace that p=33 with the title I assigned with the help of SEO Title Tag(which I installed correctly, I’ve triple checked), or at least the title of the post.

    I know I’m probably doing something wrong, but I can’t figure out what.

    Please help

  • It’s not something “wrong”, just a setting or two you need to change.

    Have a look in the documentation (docs above) for “permalinks”. You need to set your permalinks to be “friendly” and change the .htaccess file.

    All the information is there. I would find it for you but am just killing my machine.
