Hi – I’ve had this problem for a week before actually noticing it.

I’ve installed the Tracks theme, and used it without any problems, but recently, when someone comes to my blog – they see a THEMELESS version, with the default wordpress GUI. But if they click on the “About” section, or any other section of the blog – it starts displaying the Tracks theme again.

Also, on my main PC which I use to manage the blog – it always shows the Tracks theme – no matter what. But then I tried accessing it from other PCs and even phones – and it displays the blog without a theme.

I’ve tried disabling plugins one by one – and it actually DID fix the issue, by removing a mailchimp subscriber plugin – but then next day I woke up – and the issue still persisted. So maybe it’s something to do with the cache?

In any case, here are some pictures to show you what I’m talking about and help you see the problem:

This one shows how it looks now – without any theme, when someone enters my main page.
It screws up the whole formatting, and has 1 blog post display in this same page right after another – totally without the tracks theme.

This is how it’s SUPPOSED to look.
    The main page: https://www.saulisdating.com/publicimages/thememainpage.jpg
    A blog post: https://www.saulisdating.com/publicimages/theme.jpg

So – can anyone please tell me how to solve this? I’m certain that it’s not a plugin that’s causing this because when i disabled ALL plugins and cleared the cache – things reverted back to normal, but only temporarily.

Then, when i reactivated most plugins, and even installed a new plugin for getting subscribers and removed the other one which I thought was the culprit… it worked for a bit – but then it reverted back to a themeless page – until someone clicks some other page on that link – then it magically gets back to tracks theme.

I’m new to wordpress themes, so maybe the solution is simple, but I appreciate any help as speedily as possible – because this is really screwing up my readership, significantly!!

Thanks for using Tracks. I’m sorry to hear about these issues.

The site’s non-Tracks design is coming from the mobile theme option in Jetpack. Normally, Jetpack would only display this on mobile devices, so there is some conflict there. The first thing I would recommend trying is to disable the mobile theme module in Jetpack and clear the cache again. If this fixes the issue and you’re happy with how Tracks looks on mobile then that will be a quick solution. Otherwise, try deleting and reinstalling Jetpack before reactivating the mobile theme module.

Thanks man, I was really happy with the theme up till now and was considering getting the pro version. If everything works out, I probably will.

    Gonna try your solutions now.

*EDIT* Yep, it was the Jetpack mobile module – just as you said! The site looks fine without it anyway – so switching off this module solved my issue completely.

Thank you for your help, you’re the best! *EDIT*
